Clean Company today collected 14295 beer bottles and 2040 kg glass waste from Kasaragod district. 13050 beer bottles were collected from Kanhangad Municipality and 1245 beer bottles from Manjeswaram Panchayat. 2040 kg glass waste was collected from Kallar panchayat.
The vehicle filled with beer bottles collected from the Kanhangad Municipal Corporation was flagged off by the Chairperson Mrs. Sujatha Teacher in the presence of the Panchayat Administrative Committee, Clean Kerala officials and Harita Karmasena members. Beer bottles and glass waste will be removed from other local institutions in the coming days. So far, Clean Kerala Company has collected 86015 beer bottles and 65.762 tonnes of glass waste from Kasaragod district.
